A lesson for everyone.
Brodes Perry, the associate pastor at Mississippi Boulevard Christian Church was living a double life of adultery and deceit until the fateful day of April 4, 2019. It was his second marriage but he was in an unholy union with the emotions of a single lady called Latoshia Daniels. Unfortunately, her scorn cost him his life and got his wife wounded.
Ironically, Daniels was a Licensed Certified Social Worker, Qualified Clinical Social Worker, and a Certified Anger Management Specialist II, and entrepreneur with over 14 years of experience working with individuals, children, and families. She provided quality behavioral and mental health services to adolescents and adults who struggled with issues related to depression, anxiety, stress, low self-esteem, anger, mood changes, and relational issues.
With three academic degrees including a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice (the University of Arkansas at Little Rock), Master of Social Work (the University of Arkansas at Little Rock), and a Doctor of Social Work with a specialization in Criminal Justice (Walden University) under her belt, she also founded Links of Love (L.O.L.) a non-profit organization, in June 2017.
All her qualifications and professional experience flew out of the window when her emotions got the better part of her. Her troubled heart took control and allegedly, while firing shots at Perry, she screamed out, “You broke my heart!” The rest is an unfortunate history and sad story for all of us. It is better to remain single and be alive or be married and stay faithful. May the soul of Pastor Perry rest in perfect peace. Watch and listen below:
